tls tl difference

can anyone tell me the exact difference of the 2 engines. would tl-s intake manifold fit tl let me know

Perhaps you and crazydog can get together and learn how to do searches. There are a number of differences and the manifold will fit but there's more than just bolting it in.

there are many differences, most of them are internal and stuff you cant just "Add" on

I have a 99TL can I get the same horsepower that pushes the TLS. By changing the pistons ect...

No. changing that stuff isnt just take apart and slap it in. It would require a complete rebuild. Plus Rev limit is different where the TL-S motor makes more HP and you cant change that on your ECU

You can get similar HP numbers with headers, intake, custom exhaust and pulley

i had an 01 TLP and kept seeing type s'...i could beat a stock TLS with my v2 cold air and custom exhaust but i still wantd the TLS so i figured instead of just tryna get the same engine & all that other stuff i just bought 1 lol
