Throttle body spacer install ?'s

Throttle body spacer install ?'s

Hello everyone im looking into getting a pr2 throttle body spacer and i was wondering if it will fit as is? i have an injen intake and i didnt know if it would still mount back on correctly with the extra 3/4 of an inch.

thanks man, they look easy enough to install. unbolt the throttle body, place spacer in the correct position and then tighten the throttle body back up. I can do that lol i hope. Is there a vortex in the spacer, im a lil confused about how it creates power

make sure you get new gaskets (they are only like $3 at the dealer, probably cheaper somewhere else)

i believe it's 18in/lbs of torque, if you hear an odd noise when you start the engine after the install, you probably didn't tighten it down all the way or so (speak from experience)

i do not have the spacers but the general idea of spacing things apart allows more dissapation of heat and colder air is compressed more, more compression=more power

not sure what the gains are, don't have one yet. waiting to put my type s engine in to get spacers.

i did some research myself on the p2r throttle body spacers. i found that you gain about 4.8 hp for the 2nd gen tl-s
