looks like these things are going to end up being $1000 plus.

no, this is a quote from RichieV6 from the other forum

Generally people that drive older Accords/TLs/CLs do not the disposable income to spend $1000+ on a header. There are a few but they are few and far between. I believe this is the main reason why products are never made. Everyone wants it but no one wants to pay for it.

Over the past 2 years I have a developed a good relationship with a factory in Taiwan and they are willing to listen to my suggestions and strive to make a better quality product. Every batch of my products are made by the same 2 guys, one bends and cuts and the other welds. I strive for the best quality and my products are proven.
I'm not going to be bent over and charged 1000+ for these headers. but i have a feeling the original makers might do that

Yeah I saw that...but all along I figured that in my mind because there wasn't going to be a BIG production run.

i dont get why they would charge more than comptechs when they could totally run away with the market for headers for our cars. doesnt make sense to me

Maybe they want to compete with Comptech on that level...?

Or trying to make sure they can re-coop there initial costs...?

Who knows how many more people would order if it was a $600 vs. $1000 header...

I think the original fabricator wants to market it as a high-end product with a high-end price tag.

why compete when you can rape and pillage?

if richie could do this from scratch at ~$500 and make a profit i dont want to hear about initial costs from them

and the site of the equal length header itself plus the dynos shows that its a high end product

Yeah...only problem is that the original fabricator probably doesn't want Richie to make his header.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

yup, the thought of these was thrilling, but I don't think it is much more than that at this point.
