P2R Ported Intake Runners

I had no idea they even made these. (i know the link says 08 Accord, but part #P322 is for our cars. $380

"P2R Ported Intake Manifold runners are brand new from Honda, and then ported by P2R for increased flow. Port diameter is increased, factory casting marks are removed, and then the ports are smoothed to perfection."

Most porting is done by hand and a AIR dremel with precision porting bits. Smoothing out the runners gain ALOT of power.

Most people port by hand. We actually do most of our porting on a CNC machine. We have a fixture to hold the different J series runners, and the machine runs through each runner and cleans them up. What you will notice with our ported runners, is that the ports are more even than anyone doing a hand port job. The only part we do by hand is the final smoothing.

These will definitely help improve air flow and P2R buys new plenums to do each set. Also when installing these you would install the P2R thermal intake manifold gasket. If anyone needs a set we can do $380 shipped to the cont US including the thermal IMG.

The answer would be yes. However, this thread is from 2008 and P2R does not offer this on their site anymore.

They have it for the newer accords. I just installed a set last week. I think they should be able to make then still but I don't know.

If they did I would probably buy them. Seems like our cars love air.

You can still have them do it, they just stopped buying the runners because honda raised the price on them. If you buy a new set and send it to them or send them money a new set costs plus porting costs I would think they would do it still.

Call or email them, they are really helpful.

I wonder if there's any reason why they couldn't do a used set? I'll have to check it out later in the year.

They can. I emailed them and they gave me all the quotes. They said I could send them mine. But that would be difficult since this is my daily.
