I bought an ebay intake for my tl and it fit just fine. I never heard of anyone here having trouble with ebay intake quality or fitment. I sure as f*** wont pay 250+ for a tube with a namebrand stamped on it.

 

There are a few threads about this + the vibramount breakage.

If you wanna put an ebay intake on your car thats fine. Just on an expensive car, I think it should get the best parts as well. You get what you pay for.

 

I do care about how the car sounds... but $250 for a better fitting tube, which only serves the purpose of intake sound is not a good investment FOR ME. I just think AEM and INJEN are companies being complete assholes. I really wonder how much it costs to make an intake.

you guys continue to be idiots as I already admitted aem&injen fitment/quality won't be shit. I'm not buying a ebay intake either. Same goes with exhaust...I'm just not the type of person to buy an exhaust strictly for sound.

 

thats exactly what an exhaust does for out car. Maybe 2-4hp... MAYBE. but overall, its just for looks and sound... not performance. How are we idiots? You're the one still complaining about those of us who spent $250 on our intakes, when we stand by our claims of a better quality product. Its our money, not yours.

Here we go again with your name calling rant. What i was getting at with my prior remarks about you complaining about us spending $250 on our intake, was that you're making a big deal about it, regardless of what it may have been about. Whether you took it as I intended is beyond me, but apparently you didn't.
