Mid-muffler

I was just wondering if anyone had a sound clip of their TL with just the resonator removed and a mid-muffler delete to a straight pipe. I'm seriously contemplating straight piping my mid-muffler, I just want to hear it first.

it howls at cruising speeds gets really annoying , really bad if you have full exhaust.

I just had mine removed but I have stock mufflers. It made the tone a bit deeper and it still sounds nice inside the car.

Does anyone know what to expect if I swap the stock resonator with an aftermarket one, say Vibrant or Magnaflow? I need some rasp noise gone and exhaust sound to be louder. I already did the mid-muffler delete. Anyone?
