Tanabe Exhaust

I was browsing some exhaust and I saw this... I thought this exhaust is been out for the TL? Or was it for the CL?

Yes they had an exhaust for the TL before but was redesigning a new one. They wanted to get new specs to make sure everything is perfect when they make this new one so they took my car for a couple of days in Aug. and went back to Japan to redesign and produce their new exhaust. They installed the new exhaust for test fitting this weekend. The exhaust came out great, those picks of the black TL-S on their website is the result. I'm defiantly happy with the way it looks and sounds.

This exhaust will be out in 3-4 months. We will post up a Groupbuy when the delivery gets closer.

I managed to get the original version of the Tanabes' and they sound awesome at WOT/5000RPM+ and low rumble at idle - 5000 RPM. They have a loud beefy tone, "I and a few of the local police compare the sound of the car simular to the Winston/NASCAR cars. They never gave me a ticket though for being too loud. If Tanabe is redesigning the SMH's, I can't wait to hear them.

Nice to see this coming out. Picked up the original version before as well and love it. Older version seems to have a lower rumble than this one, and the tips are slightly diff, but overall a good choice in my books!

You have the Tanabe Hyper Medallion Catback? I've had one and it droned like crazy from 2.5-3k. I was going to add a resonator, but didn't feel like chopping up the exhaust.. haha
