Buy Megakilltrons set up in the Black Market and maybe he'll help you install it?

wetshot? dry shot? Dry is the easy one, if your injecting it into your fuel system it gets tricky. I might be able to help you, ive had a few DSM's w/ big nitrous systems, but i guess it really depends on wet/dry. if your shooting it into your fuel system it would be best if you had a professional install and tune it. a dry shot is another story and if there is not standalone install kit for it it may be some work, but not much more than tapping a hole somewhere in your intake system for the nozzle, usually done near the throttle body.

^Injecting into fuel system? A wet shot mixes the n2o with fuel, and then it gets routed to the injection point (intake or how ever its set up). Or am I wrong?

If you go with the zex wet/dry kit, its a pretty safe system as it controls how much fuel it needs to mix with the n2o through the nitrous management system.

Have any of you guys with nitrous system tried to dyno your car and see what is the net gain with it? It seems the way to go if you want power under your foot all of a sudden. I have couple of buddies that run nitrous on supras (one is well over 700 and another is 900+). They say its like an addiction...is that how you feel too?

Its cheaper, but not as "safe" as the wet system. Alot of guys run a dry system and have no problems. I'd run a wet system though.

Quick summary on both. A dry sytem sprays just nitrous oxide into the intake manifold and is mixed with fuel and air at the injectors. They usually provide a bit less HP because no extra fuel can be added, it just mixes with what is already there. Which concerns some people as a lean air-fuel mixture is in play, which may cause some damage if you run too much of a shot. Some of my friends have dry shots, and have no problem.

A wet shot mixes the nitrous oxide and fuel together, then injects it. Since extra fuel is provided (and the zex kit monitors and adjusts the fuel per conditions), the air-fuel mixture is not too lean. But of course, the downside is "puddles" of fuel may be suck in the intake manifold.. meaning it could backfire. But again, I never really heard too many people having problems.

the zex dry kit also monitors conditions so your motor will stay safe. The zex kits are really simple to install and safe. I would recommend them for any beginners to the nitrous world.

How much are you lookin to spray? if its only a small shot and your planning on staying with a smaller shot then dry or wet really has no problems but if your looking into a bigger shot lets say more than 75 i would go with the wet to be safe.

Not too firmiliar with the layout of the IM for our cars but you shouldn't have to worry about puddling.

I would also recommend a bottle warmer it makes a big difference on those cool/cold nights.

^Yep, forgot to mention that the dry kit does pretty much the same as teh wet, minus the extra fuel part.

Bottle warmer is pretty much a most. But you can get also addition things, remote opener, and purge kit. I got all of the above so its pretty pimp.

What company you goin with?

Still have that same question. what is the net HP gain with nitrous? What is the price difference between dry and wet?

Dry kits are cheaper or tend to be. search around for good prices this is the internet after all very easy to do.

and i believe nx and nos are the closest hp to shot companies like a 75 shot will give you more or less 75hp but ive seen people throw on a 65 shot and gain 40hp and 70ft lbs of tq that was a dry shot i believe.

do some researching online if your still not sure on what you want, the more you learn the safer and more fun the experiece with nitrous is going to be.

Sorry but Nitrous is teh :ghey: (thats just my opinion) Its only good for straight runs and short times and runs out. I prefer boost. (that said it really sucks that comptech closed its doors, some one should place a call to jackson racing and see if they would start making a kit.

Back on topic, Instructions come with the kit most have them.

Bro, In my opinion, Nitrous is just CHEATING in a very CHEAP way. Its better if you save money for the supercharger for abt 6 months or buy a faster car. It is not even fun racing when you Hit Nitrous and the other person dont have any. Its a very beautiful Luxury Sedan, cant ruin it with a Nitrous system. Its just my opinion bro, you can go ahead as long as its safe for you and your car. Just make sure you only spray it in a straight Open Lane. Dont get over excited with it, its too dangerous. a Friend of mine lives in Pennsylvania was Racing with his Maxima with his Nitrous, he Hit the Nitrous while he was going on 130, the Car Get out of control and he ended up having a Brain Surgery because he hit his head and got some Blood Clots.
The Moral is, Please be Careful bro! ( Try limit the use only on a Dragstrip)

nos = loss of engine life IMO, you should spend the $$ on the s/c. I spoke with a really good shop about our tl-s and they said that adding nos was a bad idea for daily driver, and that s/c set up was going to wear out engine faster, but not near as bad as nos
