Led Tail Retrofit Project!

First and foremost, I'm new to TL scene so bare with me.
I like to do some Led Retrofit for my tail light. not the bulb stuff. I want to do the whole thing led and Keep it OEM look as much as possible. after some searching it seem not many have done a DIY for this yet. I like to be the first. so who would like to help me with this project?
here is how you can help. any one with broken tail light, crack, etc. that they have laying around the garage and would like to donate to me for this project. I just want it as a mark up and measurement for the circuit board I plan to build. I really don't wont to use a good one yet until I know how its gonna turn out. so if you help me with your broken tail I will do your tail light for you free of labor if every thing is successful interm of look and functionality.
I have done IS300 led tail light before couple years ago and other projects.
I just need the measurement and tester tail.
any help would be appreciated.

here is my old is300 couple years ago.

Don't those tail lights come apart if you heat them up?

Edit: That looks like a tail light that would look good with the "reflector" painted matte black.

The look of tinted tails without the loss in lumens.

Good start, dude, shaping up nicely.

Do you know the layout of your array yet?

Cool idea using the LED strips for the lighting, VERY economical! Looking forward to the finished product!

I wish, I have to build this from the ground up on PCB board.
strip just not bright enough for brake and not visible enough from side angle.
as you can see from video this thing is bright consistantly from side to side. even at 90 degree angle it still pretty bright.
compare to ebay strip it will lose 90 percent of it brightness from side to side,

Have you tested the tail light in direct sunlight? A lot of low power LED's get washed out when they're mounted right up against the lens. I had that problem with my front turn signals and had to move the array deep into the back of the reflector. It made a huge difference.
