Their site states that it will not fit the type S, so I am assuming it is a no.

sure they do. but since they ran out of business, comptech accessories are now on the low low.

Check Ebay and you may find a Type-S on sale- I bought mine there. Some companies still have leftover stock. I installed mine a week before they went room temperature.

Yes comptech makes/made one for the type-s. Problem is they closed their doors. You will have to find places with left over stock. You can try asking our vendors here if they have any left

I got Comptech Icebox for my TL-S on eBay from Acura of Escondido (NIB). The product arrived in great shape and they were easy to deal with.

Without Comptech, I would consider building your own CAI using the many threads in the CL and TL forums as guides. On my CL, I had a K&N filter in the stock cover, then ran a large PVC tube from the rubber gasket to the fender well, adding a flair on the end with a 3" to 4" adaptor. Total is less than $100, works well, and is about the same noise as the CT.

Actually, this took less install time than the Comptech.

Post some pics so I can see what that looks like. I'd like to do a CAI on my car, but I have the JDM motor and don't think a USM CAI will work.
