I HAVE A SSM 2003 TLS stock still i just got about a week with it... but i really need help to see if that intake fits my car or its only made for tl-p thanks Azine

having a long ram are kinda of dangerous in NYC so i would rather go for the SHORT RAM thanks again

v2 is only made for the TLP but some of us have modded it to fit the TLS

 

i didnt know they made a v2 in short ram... either way id take a cai over short ram any day

 

Why is it so dangerous for a CAI in NYC? I know plenty of people on here running them with no problems.

 

i didnt thnk they made the v2 in short ram...i mean not unless u cut it to make it a short ram lol...and unless ur drivin thru niagra falls he should b fine wit teh CAI

 

i agree. plus its not pulling in hot engine bay air like the short ram.

Well the part that mates up to the TB is 2.5" diameter cuz thats whats on the TL-P, the TL-S has 3" diameter. It will fit but needs some minor modifying.

 

the v2 will fit but it will constrict airflow compared to a regular intake made for the type S. Your throttle body is too large for the v2. Get a regular AEM CAI, unless you drive into a lake then you won't have to worry about hydrolocking. Short Rams suck, just for sound and no benefits for power.

 

like the above already said, you cannot use the v2 on the tl-s without modifications. i would just go with an AEM cold air instead of the v2. why would you put a smaller throttle body on a tl-s? it just makes no sense.

 

ohh alright guys is that is gonna be real hard here in NYC with the water i heard it sucks real hard dont wanna be passin thru a pot hole and having some water go inside my engine that will really suck... but anyway guys thanks.... I'LL BE HAVING SOME MODS on it pretty soon... im breaking my head also looking for the MUGEN SPOILER....any help on that????????
