Installing OBX Headers and APEXi WS2. Which HF Cat?

Hey,
I've had my OBX ceramic headers in the garage for 6 months because i did not want them in before i was ready to pair it up with a solid exhaust system.

I've decided to go with the Apexi WS2 based on reviews, and I also want to replace my cat with a high flow model. My installer said he has access to Magnaflow parts...

Does anyone know the part number for a HF magnaflow cat for our 2003 TL-P?

Anything else I should know beforehand? I'm going to change the spark plugs and o2 sensors too. Is a seafoam type treatment recommend now?

Thanks

I have XS Power headers, 2.5" Magnaflow universal cat and Apexi WS2.

It sounds great IMO, mellow but still gives you that deep growl WOT...then Intake noise overtakes that.

I am going with a different setup soon and selling the whole system.

I'd recommend the XLR8 High Flow Cat. I'm going to pair one with my ATLP exhaust soon.

I would go for the ATLP exhaust if it is in fact better, but I'm not sure that it is readily available anymore... Is it? I'm up in Toronto.

I've read good things about the XLR8 HFC... I'll shop around for the best price with quick shipping now.

JCharged, Why aren't you satisfied with your current setup?

Thanks a lot for the input so far.

I have a J35 about to be fully built and boosted and it's going to need a different system.

If you're going universal, check out the spun cats as well. The "2.5 spun cat with metalic core is under $100. You just need someone to weld flanges and an o2 bung in to it or get it welded into a test pipe.

It's hard to come by. You'd have to join the waiting list. I got mine used from a member here.

The WSII is a fine exhaust, though. It wouldve been my second choice if I couldn't get the ATLP.

oulaw29, Solid performance...

Soria, Thanks.. I'll stick to the WS2.

JamezBoi, Where did you get your headers installed? Any issues? How much did you pay for the WS2, from where?

Thanks everyone.

I'll make sure to get some before and after pics n vids. Did you have to make any modifications for the o2 sensor with that magnaflow cat? The website does not say if that model has two ports in the same locations as the oem cat.

None at all. You can always buy an O2 wire extension from casper electronics just to be sure.
