i'm thinking about getting a foglight switch to activate some accessories i plan to install. my tl doesn't have foglights so i thought it'd be a nice hidden mode instead of drilling a hole in the blank for an ugly toggle switch. can someone tell me if the fog light switch is push-on/push-off like the "Cruise" control button, or if it's momentary press like the "TCS" button?

Also, the honda estore for some reason doesn't list the fog light switch for sale in the diagram that it's pictured in, does that mean i can't get the part from a acura dealer.

i've noticed this for a few parts as well, the navigation dash trim isn't listed in the diagram it's pictured in (i imagine it's from too many guys getting factory navigation installed in the non-navi cars). what's the deal?

 

I'm assuming you have a 99-01 TL. In that case, the TL foglight switches will not fit. You will need to get the INSPIRE switch or get an accord foglight switch and flip it upside down to make it fit in the stock location. And yes, the switches are push in/out like the cruise.

i put a tl fog light switch on my Hella harness.
came out real nice.
just a little soldering.

 

joseph what year is your tl? and what switch you have stock?

 

i have a 99.
there is a blank covering a place in the dash.
it goes dash dimmer switch then TCS switch then blank hole.
the stock 02-03 tl switch fits into the blank.

i put hella micro DE fogs into the corner pockets.
i used an OEM foglight switch i got off ebay.
thru trial an error i soldered the hella harness wires right on to the
tabs of the stock switch.

Could you post what wires you soldered where? I would like to do the same thing and I have the switch right in front of me, just didn't want to take time to figure it out.
