Eyelids

How would I go about putting eyelids on my 2003 tl. Do they make any kits or are they just painted on.

I like them on the 99-01. Depends how you set it up.

i gots it on mine. ill snap some pics for ya tomorrow. one of the problems i had with the eyelid was that it prevented my CF hood from closing all the way. i think the oem hood has a little space between the hood and the headlight so the eyelid sneaks right in. in my case there was no space so i had to shave off the eyelid where the hood makes contact.

it does add a little aggressiveness and also (i think) cuts off the higher part of the headlight so you're less likely to blind drivers cause part of the top is covered. but that's just what i think

The tint is from rockblocker with 20% tint so it reduce visibility at night 20%. I notice the light much dimmer at night, but you can still see the road just like old car with halogen bulb. It's not dark enough to the point that you can't see anything.

For the time I had my headlight tints on (few months) I have no problem with local cops or CHPs. Maybe just my luck? heheh..... With all the mod I have in the pass or currently, I only got stop twice. One time at night with my tinted headlight but since the light is on, they didn't notice it. They just want to check out my engine for illegal mods (NO2, turbo, or supercharge which I don't have) since I attended one of the local Honda meet near by and they think everyone going to race on the street. No ticket issued at that time. 2nd time they pull me over for window tints, but no other ticket such as blackout headlights with no amber reflecting parts, tail light tints, or with foglight mods

i bought these from Rvinyl.com and they were called the protective layer film and it was light gunsmoke. It says Gunsmoke Protection Film: 90% Light Transmission so its not bad at night it includes the headlight and foglight film
