type sexy. Any thing Injen or AEM is good. If you can find one and wnat to spend the extra money the comptech icebox is the best.

We have a full lineup of AEM and Injen and CT intakes on our webstore. In fact we stock them so if you need any of them let us know.

i say icebox. looks great. stock-ish not so loud like a CAI when at WOT.

but if you do get a CAI
get something that isn't polished..

i regret getting my Injen CAI in polished so i repainted mine to something a little more.... "stealthy"

why not polished?? all the time you have to take care of it of cleaning all the dirt and stuff..

All the above intakes are good and all, but for the most power go with a 4inch intake setup with a Silicone Reducer or Conical Reducer. That will show you the best power gains!

looks like you could beat a horse to death with that. oh wait, been done

i got my cold air intake off of ebay for a whopping 46 dollars shipped. threw it in, took out crappy old air box. car feels better, better response and i got an extra 20 miles this tank despite vtecing every other minute.

it's just a damn tube drawing in air. let's say my crappy ebay intake is 33% less effective than name brand. the name brand makes a staggering 3 HP, mine makes 2, and i saved 200 dollars. havent even bothered with a KN filter

there's an AEM for $100 now on ebay (sold by AEM) but it's red. brand new, can't argue the price though. it's made for the m/t CL, but a trim should make it fit (or you can take out the VSA TB)

speaking of intakes, i got a question
http://www.kingmotorsports.com/category.aspx?cat=56

check it out, there are like 20 sizes for filters, are the inlet how big the connection to the tubing is, or how long the filter actually is, or what? cause i'd like to replace my ebay one with the largest filter i can. or is all 3 inch tubing filter the same?

as long as there arent holes in your intake there's nothing to worry about. it's just air coming through.

more air = more efficient combustion. also since the filter is down lower, not so much in our car tho, the air drawn in is colder, which is more dense => more air molecules/area than hot air
