I just bought a 2003 Acura Tl type S and was wondering what you guys thought was the best possible bang for my buck. I was thinking maybe cherry bombs but i think that would sound to ricey, If anyone has a glass pack on their tl could ypu give your advice?

Basically you remove the Mufflers and Install straight pipes on its place, Don't remove the mid-muffler or resonator (If you do you will get A) Drone and B) Rasp).

 

Mine was like $120 in total
$40 for finding the long ass tips
$80 for the job+ extra piping to extend the tips

Cherry bombs... lol, don't do it. With time they will sound different

If I keep my tl long enough I will straight pipe it. I straight piped my 2011 ford fusion it sounds awesome. If I knew how to post videos on here I would let you guys hear it.

This is what my fusion sounds like. The rasp is only when its still cold once warm it goes away.

I didn't buy for speed. I bought because I liked the overall look of the car, reasonable price, and no one mods them. Originality!!! I wouldn't buy a tl for speed either their are better cars for that.
