Aftermarket brake kits?

Im looking for a good performance upgrade from OE brakes. I havent done much research yet but I did find that stoptech has a BBK touring package that looks like a nice upgrade and doesnt require any major modifications. I couldnt find a price though or where to buy? Im just tired of the stock crap that i have. My rotors keep warping and the front passenger side caliper is sticking. I just replaced the front rotors and calipers about 2 years ago. Anyway, I want to do all 4 but I just need some help finding the right brake kit. Ive tried searching but i just cant seem to find much. Also does anyone recommend any particular brand? Slotted? Drilled? Or both? Any help would be appreciated

Just have in Mind that BBK are around 1500-2500 bucks and You wont justified them if you dont do Track Days or Live in Hilly Mountains, In Daily Driving having a 4 Pot Caliper doesnt do Much... Mostly they are for Brake Feeling.

Now if you Have the Money and want to go for Looks/Braggs= BREMBO BBK! Around 2400 bucks a Set.
If your on Budget Stop-Tech FTW! Around 1800 a Set...

FYI: Our Cars have a very Saddistic Brake Ratio of 70/30 or 80/20 cant remember the exact number but its Front Bias so You dont need an Upgrade for Rears or Your just looking for Insta OVERKILL and Braggs... Keep it Front BBK with a Very Good Pad set on the Rears...

If you just want an Upgrade for the POS 1 Pot Caliper then go LEGENDS! Best Bang for the Buck!!! And Upgraded Feeling Guaranteed.... Alot of AZINERs can prove that myself Included...

In regard Rotors... The best of the Best are BLANKS you dont want Slotted or Drilled if your looking for the MOST PERFORMANCE.
If your looking for LOOKS then BOTH its OK but keep in Mind that a bad Set of Rotors will Crack if you push them too Hard.

BBK aren't needed for normal application. Just get better rotors and pads. Here is a link for a nice upgrade:

If you want better calipers, just get Legend calipers. They're pretty cheap, and give a nice upgrade from 1 pot to 2 pot. SS brake lines are good too.

The link I posted is about $500 shipped for 4 rotors and 4 pads. If you search around the internet, you can get the exact same parts for $400 shipped.

Just do a quick search for them on AZine. You will find a part number, which you can order from Rockauto.com. They are not painted, and they're about $100 for both.

The link is actually not that great of a deal. Go to PartsGeek.com, and you can get them for a LOT cheaper. XLR8 must be too worried about his margins on that.

Go to this link: http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...ake_rotor.html

It's quite a bit cheaper for the same exact parts.

Thanks, Yeah i can get everything for about $65 cheaper. I found the calipers on amazon about 10 bucks cheaper than rockauto. I thought the brand of calipers were called legend but now i realize they are off of an actual legend haha how about ss brake lines? i searched partsgeek but i dont think they have ss lines. any recommendations?

Check the black market for rotors and pads I got mine off there a few months back for 145$ shipped the we're cross drilled and slotted plus pads for all four. After a few thousand miles they haven't warped at all, and I use my brakes hard. Even from 100+ braking it stops perfectly smooth and fast

We just released a BBK for the 2G CL/TL:

http://store.excelerateperformance.c.../i-533157.aspx

XLR8 Big Brake Kits are essentially StopTech® Touring Big Brake Kits®. These kits are the ultimate in 1-piece rotor brake upgrade systems and represent the best performance value in the StopTech® lineup.

They offer nearly the same performance as the StopTech® Big Brake Kits and Trophy full race systems at a more affordable price point. Designed for street driven production vehicles, StopTech® Touring Kits include forged 2-piece calipers, larger 1-piece rotors, StopTech® Stainless Steel Brake Lines, StopTech® Street Performance Brake Pads and application-specific caliper brackets.

The stiff 2-piece, fully-forged calipers have designated piston sizes specific to each application and provide a firmer, more responsive brake pedal that provides better brake pedal modulation. For this application, the Touring Big Brake Kits® is available in a four piston configuration and 5 different caliper colors that use a special high temperature paint to withstand extreme conditions. All StopTech® Touring Big Brake Kits® include stiff calipers that utilize silicone dust boots to extend service intervals.

The larger 1-piece rotors, available in Power Slot® slotted, or StopTech® SportStop® drilled finishes, provide greater heat capacity and reduced brake fade. Also assisting in fade resistance and higher performance are the StopTech® Street Performance Pads® which have a high maximum operating temperature, and high bite for responsive brakes that can be driven hard.
