Sup Guys I was doin some last min Christmas shoppin and i was on rt 46 in Totowa which leads into rt 3..... traffic was movin smoothly when i see some blue cheap hids flash behind me and i see it a Lancer.....I looked up and he was talin my ass hard...so i gave him a break test and smiled in my rear view as if to say r u f'n crazy he had a yellow lancer w the oz package and a 100 dollar exaust......dude all the peeps have been goin nutz over the lancer i dont understand it...anyway he swirved into the left lane and came next to me and tried to intimidate me w his lound POS exaust so i sad f this i hit the gas an flew past him and he couldnt catch me so then to add insult i threw on my hazards as if 2 say Kiss my ass.......ahhh people have to stop steppin when they know they r small time....ha ha ha:yack:

 

You know he's a moron anyway, that car has a front end that can only be desciribed as FUGLY, even on the EVO. Given the choice between that, a WRX STI and my car...well, we all know where my 30k would go, but between the WRX and the EVO...WRX all the way, especially since they just redid their front end.

Anything can be made nicer but doubling the horsepower!

I like the lancer better than the STI for it's technical merits. Both will have about same power, if not, than the same tuning potential with stock turbo/internal...over 300 hp for both. The sti does look a helluva lot better than the WRX...those bug eye lights were scary looking. But i do like the ricey looking pics I've seen of the EVO. I'd like to have one. The thing about the EVO i really like over the scooby is the AWD system. The EVO has an electric center diff which the torque bias can be set from a simple switch in the cockpit. There are setting for snow, gravel and tarnack. Obviously the snow setting is for the least torque bias front to rear and tarnac setting is for the most torque splitting so the car can get the most power to the rear wheel for coming out of a turn at high speed.

 

I agree Ray, the mechanics are all there, better than the Suby even, but the Suby just looks better (not that I would pick a car soley on looks, but the Suby is not far off, performance wise from the Lancer) That said, I would love to drop one of those turbos into a sand rail, or even one of our V6's.
