Whats up everyone?

Anyone in the westchester/Rockland area I just got my windows tinted up in rockland and the place did an incredible job and was quite reasonable. i did 35% all around, he uses a computer cutter, no cutting by hand. seams are tight. the place is called Sams Professional Window Tinting in Nanuet, NY in rockalnd county.

is 35% legal in NY?

 

yeah, 35% is the legal limit for the driver dorrs, you could go darker in the back if you want. but the drivers and passenger front doors need to be 35% the darkest

actually, 35% is illegal in NY. The law says that the legal limit is 72 or 74% (cant remember which one), which is basically the factory tinted value. That goes for the back windows also...I am not sure about the %age on the rear window, i believe its 35%. if you live in a large city, you wont be harassed about it anyway, but smaller suburban drivers beware...cops have nothing else to do and may get you for tints.

yea, im thinking of tinting my windows too.. 35% also. i live in westchester, maybe ill check the place out..... how much did they charge u?

 

I got my windows tinted at Lorenzos. Its on the Bronx Mount Vernon border. I got it 30 all around. He knows my cousin so he hooked me up, i paid 175. He computer cuts the tint as well and he warrenties the tint for 5 years. Any fading, scratches, bubbling, chipping, anything. Plus i believe llumar has a lifetime warranty. He doesnt have to warranty someone elses product but he does. look at my sig and you will see the tint.

 

hes' right 35% isnt legal -- i got pulled over last nite i just rolled all my windows down

 

Sams did my windows for 175. it looks real tight and he gives you a lifetime warranty. Looks terrific, i already got compliments today at work. I will take pictures tommorow and post them.
