where is the odb2 jack on 2000 tl
I won't swear that it's the same location, but for my 2002 it is behind the coin holder/power outlet. Reach down between the seat heater switches into that little cubby thingy and put your fingers over the top of the plastic "door" and pull. Should snap off and reveal the OBD II port. This is what it is in my 02.
Underneath the "Not an Ashtray" tray, between the heated seat buttons. The side/wall facing the front of the car is a plastic lid. Just pop it toward you and it will come right off and you'll see the OBD2 connector behind it.

on the CL for sure. But my best guess is it's probably the same on both since they share virtually everything. (except for the 6-speed and LSD... damn greedy CL-S project manager

It seems like they would have sold more than 43,293 TLs in 99, 00, and 01.

'02-'03 is UA5
As for the sales figures, you were right. I ran some searches (man, sales figures are a bitch to find) and I found the annual figures of 2000 and 1999.
In 1999, Acura sold 40,736 TLs, and in 2000, they sold 51,539 TLs, an increase of 26%.
I couldn't find figures for 2001 and up.
