When and why would you turn VSA OFF

I was wondering, when and why would one want to drive with the VSA system manualy turned off? Isn't it safe to have it on at all times?

I'd only turn it off if I was racing someone or feeling out my car on windy roads or on a track somewhere. For most everyday driving turning it off is pointless. You'll have more direct control over the car with it off, but it can save your ass if your pushing the limits of the car, especially if your driving skills are sub-par.

How did VSA help you when stuck? Its a stability assist. TCS is most likely what you used, and i foun it more likely to get you stuck than any thing

Yes you turned it off. By pressing the button you turned the system off. The VSA\TCS is on by default

When you start the car all the systems default on. When you press the button and you see the light on the dash come on that means the system is off

turning VSA is good for some cool peel outs...in someones car other than your own ofcourse! Also VSA is recommended to be turned off if you have larger diameter wheels as stated in your acura owner's manual.
