Hey guys I just ran into more problems with my TL. It's been happening for 2 days and I'm scared to drive it now.

On my way to work I experienced it vibrating when I was at a stop sign. Then when I went to accelerate it would take awhile to accelerate then it would have a major jerk shift then accelerate. I will be taking it to a mechanic after work.

I'm assuming it could be the transmission mounts? I replaced the motor mounts about 3 years ago

 

Is there an engine light on? Sounds like it could be as simple as a bad coil

 

When you say "accelerate" do you mean that your RPM is revving high and you are not moving any faster then suddenly it jerks and goes forward?

 

If that's the case, you should do some work asap. Might be possible to extend the tranny life a bit by servicing it.

I started having tranny issues, and they went away for ~2 years with a 3x3 and a filter change.

 

Similar thing happened to my minivan it just was way overdue for an oil change there wasn't enough oil for VTEC to kick in
