Question This is weird

After I got home from seafoaming my car I was locking my car with the keychain fob...

I pushed the lock button and heard the doors lock... and for some reason I have a habit of pushing it again to hear the sound and the lights flash twice... and now it doesn't make the sound or flash the lights... it just keeps locking the doors?

Before I did the Seafoam... I did change out my cabin air filter... hmmm I wonder if I changed something...

I was fooling around the battery when pouring the seafoam in... maybe I jiggled a wire loose hmmm

check if all your doors, trunk and hood are fully closed. mine does that if something is left open.

Put in your key fob in the driver side key hole and turn it to the lock position and then try pushing the lock button. After that everything should work. Found out that little trick after taking my car for service and they used my key to get in and disabled the alarm system.

I too enjoy hearing the beep upon the second time you hit lock.

Not sure why

I always double click the remote lock so that anyone nearby hears the chirp, and I watch for the corner lights to flash as confirmation.

So seafoam WAS the cause of your problem!!!!!!
If you hadnt done that, the hood would never have been opened and.......
