Weak seat belt

Weak seat belt
Does anyone feel like their seat belt pulls back weaker then it's supposed to? Like when I'm about to get out of the car and I take off my belt, I literally have to feed it back inside and sometimes when I'm driving it feels like I don't have it on (which is an uncomfortable feeling for me) and I would have to pull on it to get it tighter. Anyone else feelin me on this or am I solo?
BTW I tried to search and it just gave me this message: siteId is missing or invalid

If you get an SRS light- proceed to the dealer for free -special 10 year/150k miles SRS warranty extension
Seatbelts had some issue too, call acura 1-800-382-2238x5, and ask if there is anything about that in their system. Its just a phone person, not a car tech, so they can register your car and complaint, tell you to take it to the dealer and have a case manager assigned.
800 can tell you about other parts with extended warranties (no charge to us)
Also drop by the dealer and ask them about it, and to run your VIN for recall notices on anything
now that I think about it, mine doesnt go back fully getting out of the car...

mine does that too, just on the drivers side. I had it fixed once and the techs said they just clean the mechanism with alchohol wipes to remove residue or some crap like that, but it doesn't stay tight on the body sometimes. I'm going to take it back in soon.

iirc the owner book says the seatbelt is supposed to be near your chest but not tight- when the car senses a sudden braking- (tap the brake shard to see), then it pretensions and locks the belt in place
Thats what to do at track day coming out of the pits- hit the brakes quick and the belts stay nice and tight for you~

the people at the 800 number can only read from a book, often its
from "The Book of NO!"
If there is a known problem-special warranty, they can tell you that
The service MANAGER at the dealer is who to ask about it
The have access to all the TSB info in addition to the recalls and warranty

seatbelts should be lifetime warranty. I wanna say its a national policy. Either way, go to the dealer, and tell them to fix it. If they say no, then make sure to kindly get their name and their manager's name and get the "no need to replace" recommendation in writing. That'll usually scare them into fixing it since it is a safety system.

So I made an appointment for tomorrow to bring my car in for that seat belt issue. I asked the service writer if its under warranty she said she doesnt know and that the advisor will tell me? I went and double checked the sticker from when I bought my car and it says lifetime seat belt warranty.

you cannot expect the girl who writes your name down in the schedule to actually know anything about cars do you?
Your lucky if the service writer has ever worked on cars as a hobby-let alone a former tech who can explain whats going on with your car.
Then the warranties- the newest cars they may have more knowledge on -because training is more for the newer cars coming in for service and bugs
There is a computer they can look up everything for your car
You can too on http://owners.acura.com/registration...erstepone.aspx
need your VIN to register, everyone should, its acura's system
