water pump and belts
Welcome to the forum. This is the closest thing to a DIY for the timing belt. Once thats off you will have access to the H2O pump.

take it to the dealer, or somone who knows what they are doing, this is no diy depends on your skills. have the comfort that if someone else does it and your engine goes boom they are responsilbe not you. just my two cents. time is money save the headache and just shell out the cash
^^Private mechanic not the dealer, any dealership will gladly charge you about twice what a reputable mechanic will. Try to find a Honda/Acura specialist, there has to be one near you, these are some of the most driven cars out there. I checked a private mechanic here and they said $425 if I brought them the parts, about $600 if they supplied the parts; dealership wanted well over $1000 either way.
Don't forget spark plugs, I just bought some NGK Iridium IX plugs for $6.99 each, the dealer wants $26 each for platinum plugs and $150 to install.
If you're comfortable doing it yourself or have a friend who's knowledgable skip the dealership at all costs.

Totally depends on your skill level
I have done several timing belts (including water pumps and accessory belts) with good results, but have done lots of fairly major DIY project (cylinder heads off, engines out, clutches, too many water pumps and belts to list) and found it straightforward.
I agree that the consequences of screwing it up are bad, so don't proceed if you haven't done projects at this level. If you have done major work and are patient and careful, however, this job is not terrible. When in doubt, stop and research. Plan on tying up the car for a while and making some tool runs. You will need to buy a tool to hold the crankshaft pulley so you can remove the big nut on the end. You can sometimes loosen it with an impact wrench, but you can't count on that. Other than that, just regular mechanic's tools. Just expect to spend twice as much time as an experienced mechanic would spend and triple check your work.
Good luck!

The post I did for the water pump and belts provides some pics and tips and I strongly recommend the factory service manual if you intend to tackle this yourself.
I do not recommend trying this yourself solo if you havn't done a timing belt replacement before. This was my second timing belt replacement, first one was on my 88 Honda Accord.
I found out trying to document the procedure that it is near impossible to take good pics since there is too much engine stuff in the way. The factory service manual has some great illustrations but they can be misleading since they do not show or mention the obstructions.
