water leak

I have a pretty bad leak in my car. It is only on the drivers side, i found what looks to be a sun roof drain or sonething like that disconnected under my dash. My question is the service manual only shows one fron drain and one rear drain on opposite sides and it isnt the drives side. So what is this hose? I will post a picture tomorrow bit as of right now i am going to find a way to connect it to the correct location. It seams like it is a hair short like it fits in but doesnt want to stay so i am going to try to clamp it and see if it resolves the leak if not, has anyone else ever had this type of problem

Are you having a leak from the sunroof or roof area and have one seeping through under the dash. The sunroof is a self explanatory fix replace or readjust the gasket. So is there two leaks?

Lightbulb Try this

I had a similar problem it was the drain hose out of place, I must of accidentally pop it out while working on the fuse box. Its near the hood release panel by your left foot.
If you still cant find it, while it rains stay in the car and look for where the water is coming from or have someone hose down the suspected area from outside and look inside for the leak.

Unless the drain hose is clogged not letting water escape thru it.

Thats what i think it is. I was confused because tbe service manual only shows a drain on the passenger side but it has to be the sun roof drain . That is exactly what my is ErickUa5 i really hope this fixes this leak it is driving me nuts lol

I want to do the hose test but right now it is ten degrees and there is 6 inches of fresh snow on the ground lol i will just connect it and see if it stops. There is a litttle rubber boot that it goes into out the side of the car. It is located by the hood release as you stated so im hoping this is what my problem is

Another place it can leak as Others have had a leak come from the floor board including myself. There is a frame rail plug that is under the sound deadening that leaks. I found it with a sprinkler under the car trying to locate my leak.

Thanks for the info i have pin pointed it to the sun roof drain the clear tube is out of rubber boot by the fuse box but it is too short so i bought a coupling and a small piece of hose to go over it and it works like a charm
