leave it alone
only reason to turn off is stuck going uphill in the ice at low speed from a stop

Turn off and get a very nice Burnout.
Also for some Reason while driving the Steering feels more loose and Responsive, I always turn off TC going down a mountain it just corners better for some reason.

Its in your head if you think turning traction control off makes the car corner better. TC only limits wheel spin (on the TL-P only up to 15mph or so)

I was thinking of damage to axles doing burnouts as a main reason to leave it alone

Unless VSA is being activated while cornering it cant change the way the car corners. All it does is apply braking to specific wheels and closes the throttle body (the TB in front of the actual tb) to limit power to help get the car back in control. It doesnt do any thing to the steering or trans.

There have been a few that have tried it. I would take them out and inspect them, see if the screens are clogging up. If they are dirty but working properly i would just clean them. Of course if you have the extra 100 or so you could always replace them (i would pull all solenoids out and clean them personally

I think you should be very careful deactivating VSC, Vehicle Stability Control.
I personally believe that deactivation of the VSC could be more dangerous as you hit sharper corners, loss of traction, etc.
Yes I think there is better throttle assist but you sacrifice traction.
VSC is pretty much the same as ABS but for acceleration or driving.
I'm most worried about deactivation during rainy weather, or fast turns, because over or understeer happens, deactivating it will loose some safety.

Bottom line? Use it for burnouts, (hehe) or getting out of mud.

Yes it could but i would def post this in the main forum to get a reply...... oh and in the third gen main forum btw. your car's a little defferent as it was manufactured after a major design change. Look in the front corner of the driver door and there should be a panel on the side of the dash, (one on the passenger side too) and not sure which on your just don't wanna misinform you if i haven't already.
