go to a parts store and ask for a free code reading
maybe it has one in memory and we can go from there

What driving conditions- anything odd- hard throttle etc?
did the D5 light on dash flash?
watch for that!!
Smell your trans fluid on dipstick for burnt oil smell

nope perfect day out and the transmission was just rebuilt and has tranny cooler, no more than 6,000 miles on it. the car drove fine no problems. but i think it may have something to do with my axle.. could that cause the light to come on if theres a problem with the axle?

there is a wheel speed sensor and a ring it uses behind the brake dust shield - it can be damaged- corroded inside wire or many things cause it to fail

code ck will tell fast or look under the car for damage to sensor or lead-
any recent brake work may have pulled the wire too
Most major parts stores will send a person outside with portable reader and ck them for you (not california-smog laws)

warning lights can mean so many things- mostly they just want you to find out whats going on- more than tell you exactly whats wrong

Must be the day for the VSA light. Mine came on, too, along with the CEL, but we are having major downpours today, and I drove through some pretty deep puddles. When I turned the engine off and restarted, the VSA light went off, but the CEL stayed on. I pulled the clock fuse and waited about 30 secs, put it back in and all is well again.

deep water will mess up the speed sensors- let them dry out- no need to reset ecu in most cases but if you did it wont hurt
