ok braking does feel a lil better now. But I do have to go in the back and redo the rear pads. I need to shave off the extra tab off the hawk pads.

Stoping from high speeds I notice a pretty big difference.

Next step would be the Legend calipers.

the dremel works well if you CUT the tab off, as low as possible, and then grind the rest flush.
Otherwise, a regular grinder wheel makes fast work of them- if there is a local shop they will do it in a minute- take ice cream or donuts in exchange.
The small grinding stone on a drill makes slow work of it- if you pay yourself by the hour!!

Glad you caught the rear tab issue before too many miles- the rears wont be bedded right, so do the heeltoe method again to get them started.
Then you will have all the brake pad to rotor contact and it will stop much better~
I cant believe you dont have the legend calipers yet!!

I tried the small cutting/grinding stone on the cordless- that was worthless- then used a real corded drill, that was better but slow going

A bench mounted grinder wheel spins much faster- and has a heavier duty grinding stone. Thats why I suggested asking a local shop- gas station- neighbor with one on his workbench in the garage- then you are talking a minute versus many minutes

but whatever you have on hand can be made to work, its not a soft metal thats for sure!
