Post Voice Command

Lately I have been thinking about running little errands just to drive around in my car.

Do you think the next generation of Navigation will have a voice command ?

The Infinity Q 45 has the voice command feature. You can command the vent, moonroof...

Fiddler is working on a voice recognition system for TL's, but I don't think it's tied to the navigation... YET!

Drop him a PM if you're interested and I'm sure he will give you the details or direct you to his website which I can't remember off hand.

Just my .02 cents

hey.. thanks for giving Intira my website
as far as voice control for navi, it can control anything that uses a button. so if your navi has buttons that you press and you want to replace it with voice command, that's possible. If it's touchscreen, I dont know if I"ll be able to do anything w/ that.
(as long as there's a button - whether remote control or on the unit, it's possible)

I think for voice command to navigator you may need to wear an earphone with a "splitter" between telephone and navigation so navigation can separate your command from your conversation.

One of these days when you sit down to drive, your car may say, "What's wrong ? Your body temperature is high and your eyes look tired."
