Has anyone noticed that the software for voice commands, phone, music etc. is sluggish?

The Acura dealer said the know this and supposedly working on a fix but said it could be six months.

Has anyone heard anything?

 

You are correct. It is slow and very sluggish. Hopefully they can fix it soon.

 

Please clarify if you have a 2013-2015 or a 2016. I haven't noticed any sluggishness in my 2016.

This isn't new. I had an MDX and RLX loaner back in 2013 with the double screen console. The software/hardware on both cars were very sluggish. That would have been a deal breaker for me. It's like they haven't tested the cars before putting them on the market. I'm surprised they haven't fixed it yet.

 

I can't tell. I'm very sluggish at learning how to use all this stuff. I think most of the problems I experience are of my own making. YMMV

 

I disabled the voice prompts and the voice readout and by doing so it seems to make the software faster.

I could not say more for the voice control. The voice commands are so pointless and it is so distracting to a point that it is quicker and more efficient to go straight to the buttons and switches.
