on the one hand thats pretty damn cool to see. On the other one, it hurts to know what that kind of stress on the morot mounts/frame/cross members is doing to that car... hope hes not planning on trading that thing in... $5000 at the most...

 

they air ride was only on for less than 2 months and the 3 wheel feature was only on for about 2 or 3 weeks. he also took it off already since he is going to be trading the car. he had the car checked out by a friend to see if there was any frame damage or anything else wrong with the car and he checked out fine.

yea... when that video was shot he had a big ass nitrous tankr hooked up. u see how the trunk is open and theres a blue line coming out? thats going to the tank which was outside. that was the only time the tank was ever hooked up.

 

I am sure lots of effort went into it (and money too) but it left me wondering "?why?" would someone want their car to do that.... A drop certaining gives the car a nicer rake; But up and down and side to side, and all the rest of that nonsense.... Huh

 

why?? Coz it's a Showcar that's why.

 

Thanks BDI, i kind of figured that out , but let me ask you, what exactly IS it showing? Looks like a boat being beaten about on the high seas with all that side to side motion.... Thats not what a car is supposed to do. Show me cosmetic mods and I'd say "very cool"; show me engine and performance mods and I'd say "really cool". But show me a car that tips up and down and all around and I'd say " "

 

its all about personal preference.

 

I'm not trying to step on anyone's right of self expression. I was just really surprised someone would want to do that to a TL.
