Post Underbody Kit, Can it be installed anytime?

I know with the spoiler you should get it when the car is new so the paint stays the same color as the car. Is this the same with the kit? The kit is just plastic right?

Any idea when 02 kit will be available? I just saw a silver TL with a kit and it looked bad ass.

Take off your mud guards now if you ever plan on a kit.

Because if you don't, the flaps will rub the paint that the kit doesn't cover and leave marks when you do decide to get a kit! Mike pointed this out to me a long time ago.

yeah you can put in on whenever you want. it shouldnt be a big deal about the paint difference unless you wait like 10 years to put it on.

I put on my underbody kit 1 year after I bought the car! no problems. And yes, it's plastic.
