Anyone here have a Torbo TL? Do they even make turbos for our cars? Is there a generic turbo for our car? Just wondering.

well u can custom build one. Shouldnt be that hard..u just need to find a buncha parts for it. t3/t3 turbo..all the related piping..intercooler..exhaust manifold.. cost maybe 3-4k. Of course you probably would wanna reinforce your internals first.

 

The guy at my shop quoted me maybe 10 G's to do that....

comtech makes one for the TL. I saw it about a month ago and is it sweet!!

 

a guy on acura-cl.com made one. ran low 13's if i remmember correctly.

hey i am new to this car thing... just wondering what is and what is the purpose of the V-AFC??

 

v-afc is a v-tec controller. does a lot of cool things that are basically pointless. don't expect it to change your hp at all, but u can change the vtec crossover point to different rpm levels.

it sure does look pretty though.

 

allmotor did a custom turbo setup on his 6-speed CL-S

 

check out A C U R A W O R L D . com without the spaces. they had a custom turbo kit group buy.

 

Yeah if your serious about spending up to 10 Gs on a turbo talk to allmotor_2000 on www.acura-cl.com . He could probably make you one for $5-6 K .

Correction: allmotor ran 12.73 in the 1/4 mile
