Transmission Installation Question

My Dealer finally got my replacement trans mission and I have an appointment to bring my car in and have it installed next week. They claim it will be done the same day and I can pick ithe car up? Does anyone know if this is right? The reason I am still driving the car is because the trans is running fine again for now.

thx

Thanks for the reply. I am having my car transmission replaced form my dealer in NJ. I never thought about going to a closer dealer like Rallye. I am in Port Washington so thats like 15 minutes away from me.

Thats what you get with Chrysler, and they have all sorts of problems with their trannys. At least Acura has semi stepped up to the plate with the warranty. Honda is fairly consumer friendly.

Hey vancityguy01..... I too had a Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD and my tranny died at 154,000KM...... Lucky I knew a guy at a local tranny shop and he charged me $1700 to do mine. Chrysler has had a lot of problems with those trannies..... I'm now wondering if the "Dead Tranny Gods" are following me???? I sure hope I don't have any tranny problems in the future. Mine is "suppose" to be fixed............. only time will tell!!!
