Unhappy Transmission help needed!

So after 308k miles, my TL-S finally lost it's transmission, it's 5 speed auto became a 4 speed after 2nd gear was lost, now I've heard other transmissions can be put in this car such as 2003-2007 Honda Accord V6 Transmission, 2004-2008 Acura TL Transmission, 2004-2006 Acura TL Manual Transmission, and 2003 CL-S Manual Transmission, would any of the automatic transmissions need modification to be put in, as if they need extensive modification that would cost as much as a 6mt, i'd rather just go 6mt. Any advice is appreciated.

No. Not a single transmission is remotely, near as expensive as the 6MT from the CL-S. You could probably buy 2 TLs for the price of the 6MT Swap.

If you'd like to go 6 speed swap your best bet is to buy and entire cl damaged from auction. I swapped in and 07 accord transmission and installed cooler while still using the cooler jet from the 02 Trans and it's starting to fail again. I'm on my 3rd tranny at 250k and just Bought a smashed cl to do the swap.
