Transmission Cooloer
What is the best transmission cooler out there for our cars?
Replacing tranny and planning to install a cooler.
I seen people with the B & M ones, is there any other brands?
Thanks.

Im running the B&M one. i seen a huge temp drop. my tranny use to run at 220 to 230 and now it stays at a consistent 180 or lower. Ive seen it go about 200 a couple of times but it stays that much cooler. we all know the cooler does not help with the tranny failing but i have felt a difference in the performance of the trans. In vegas where it gets 100+ degrees and the tranny gets about double that, the performance of the tranny does down the hotter it gets. But i have noticed a maintained performance with the cooler. I would get the B&M one its by far the cheapest and easiest to install. You just have to buy longer hoses to get to the front of the car. it does not reach.
I have a CT Engineering one which I heard are made by B&M. I only have it because I'm supercharged and hope that it well help with temp regulations, otherwise I probably would not have bothered getting it.
III.II if your looking to do it to help save your trans it wont. You can go to any auto parts store and get one.
How do you know the temp? Did yo put a temp gauge on it? I am sorry but i call
on feeling a performance difference on it. I had one and there isnt any thing. It shifted the same a acted the same.

B&M should fit perfectly. With stop and go traffic, aggressive driving, driving cross states, towing, and in high temperature areas, the cooler does its job excellently. Keeping the fluid temperature low within the normal operating temperature is worth to have the cooler installed. You wont regret it.
