transmission again
hey guys,
I was wondering if these tranny are destined to fail sooner or later...or could i be one of the lucky souls that have a perfectly functioning tranny and will never need a replacement? So in other words, is it possible my original tranny at 80K miles will last another 100K miles without getting it replace??? Anybody have the number of defected units for the 03tls model??? thanks in advanced guys, I appreciate it.

between 50 and 100K is usually when they go-
The problem wasnt fixed in 03- they just needed a cutoff date for the lawsuit on warranty extension
The replacement transmissions have a better designed case- improved oil flow
Does make the trans 100%- but they seem to be doing well other than occassionl unit failure- not mass amounts like before
Make sure you are covered VIN and hope for a trans failure soon!!
