I would go for the 02 RSX-S. The '99 TL if I am correct, is only a 4spd automatic. As nice as the body design of the TL is...go for the newer car, you'll probably be happier...unless you can find an '02 TL-S for that price or atleast an '01 TL-P will be good.

I have to agree with peiqinglong, I'd go for the RSX too. It's a new car...why attempt to potentially take on someone else's headache? Not to say that the used TL has problems but it could...there's always a reason why someone got rid of it.

You're 16...go for the RSX-S. It's a nice car, it's newer, it's fast, and you will potentially save on maintenance costs down the road.

Of course the RSX!!!

The TL is nice and all that, but you will have plenty of time in the future for a car like the TL.

Besides when you get bored with the RSX, and are in the market for another car. There will be lots better and newer cars for you to choose.

Or some cheap IS300, TL-S, G35, bababa.

The RSX is more of a lady's car when you are 20.
I mean, you would probably get more ladies with the RSX than the TL. Altough, you could probably fit more ladies in a TL

Once you get to about 25-30 the ladies start to apreciate the TL and then the RSX is just a toy.

RSX... perfect for your age!
especially the type-s, very nice engine and chassis, and com'on, we all know teenagers should drive two-doors with 6-speed manuals eh? (especially considring the rsx manual is very nice)
i say go for it, new car usually equals less pain too

not that tl is bad tho! i have the TLS and i'm loving it

Yeah i agree...go for the RSX-S. I drove the RSX when i was having my TL serviced. The interior is definitely designed with 'today's youth' in mind. The car is sporty and its NEW and you really dont need a 4 door car when you are still in HS. You should be spending most all of your time with your girlfriend... and three makes a crowd. At least that was my experience when i was young. :p

Get the RSX - I got a 99 TL with Navi recently because my MX-6 (which I still drive) was getting some miles on it.

The RSX - 2 door coupe gets the girl.

The TL - 4 door is nice when you want to impress her parents.
