took out the gutter grill

I kinda didn't like the fact that the gutter grill looked black and non-existent from a distance of more than 20 feet and only look good closeup. So I put OEM wings back on. Did I make the right choice?

I personally like how my car look with the black grill. I like how it is open and a little more sporty looking.

but thats just my opinion. You should do what you think looks good on your car since the person who you should ultimately please is....yourself.

If I can afford Mugen Grille, I rather stay w/OEM.

Yeah... you did the right thing!! The stock one ain't that bad. I was going to mess with it but decided not to. Mugen Grilles is nice but it's too pricey for just a grille.

I was thinking the same thing. The mugen grill looks better with something in the middle. Without it, you see the ugly metal part of the hood behind the grill, like the pic NSXNEXT posted, no offense.

I agree 100%. That's the first thing I noticed when I did it.

That's why I painted the brace in the back flat black. You can't see it even if you get up close. I don't have any updated pics though.

Mugen doesn't make the grill in FRP so I'm thinking of getting a saber grill and paint it body color inside to see how it would look.
They are pretty cheap.

Austin519, we're not allowed to discuss group buys on Snook's site. His site, his rules. PM me and we can discuss!

the stock grille looks nice but i like it even better w/o the wings comin off the sides of the emblem. I think someone on this site modded their grill like that. The outer shell is body color and the emblem is floating in the middle of a black background

Ya know what...I don't think I like the Mugen now...I mean the upper lip of it...just is too damn big. It needs to be thinner...then it'd be sweet. Take a look at my crappy photoshopping job

First one with no upper lip basically.
Second one with a mild upper lip.
