Nissan Murano...it's a small SUV...

you'll spank a Murano. I recently raced my buddy in his Hyundai Santa Fe. Even with the gas planted to the floor, and with his AWD, I fucking kicked his ass...SUV's are heavy, under powered, and shit on gas...don't get one!!!

is he talkin bout the murano or the maurader, you know that car that mercury made, dont't think they make them anymore. The TLS should be able to beat that too, but probably not by that much. They are pretty damn fast for that big of a car.

i dunno if a tls can beat a mercury maraudrer, those things are fast as hell and got tons of torque. The huge chrome 18s may weigh it down and the air ride is awesome.

A TL-S would crush a Marauder. They are 300hp, but they still post 0-60 times of about 7.3 seconds...they are just too heavy. Now, if it's a supercharged Kenne Bell Marauder, that's a whole nother story. They'll hit 60 in just a tick over 5 seconds.

Um, there's a huge difference between the Nissan Murano and a Hyundai Santa Fe. The Santa Fe, like most SUV's is slow as hell, with the V6 version having a 0-60 time of 10.3. However, there are a few higher performance SUV's that are quite respectable. An Acura TL, either the non-Type S, or the Type S should have little trouble beating the Murano, with a 0-60 time of 7.5 and 1/4 mile time of 15.9, via Car & Driver.

Oh, and the Infiniti FX45 is a much more formidable opponent, with 0-60 time of 6.3 and a 1/4 mile time of 15 flat, also via Car & Driver.

I'm assuming that all cars are stock, so let me answer (Love my 99) first, according to MT July '02 Marauder
0-60=6.9
1/4 mile=15.4 @93mph
0-100=18.3
A TLS won't crush a Marauder but in car terms 1 sec is a lifetime and by the time both cars reach 100, the Marauder is 2 seconds behind the TLS, if thats not crushing then I don't know what it is.

Now I don't know why are we wasting time and gas on something like a Murano, stock for stock (that I know of) just about the only thing that can touch us (SUV) is the Porsche Cayenne Turbo with 0-60=5.6 and a top speed of 165mph and even then with a simple intake and headers we can be there 0-60 with no problems. Top speed I don't know because the ones that have a SC on their TLS and Coupes never said anything about working with their limiters and see what they can do at high speed.

So in my opinion, I don't really waste time with SUVs unless they have some sort of mod that is worth the trip.
