One of my friends just told me that Car & Driver and Sport Compact Car both indicate in their newest issues that the TL-S will be available for a limited time with a 6-speed manual transmission. Can anyone verify this? I can't imagine why my friend would make something like this up and also why nobody has posted this info here if it is indeed true.

I just checked both of their websites and nothing was said about it.... I call B.S.

it would be nice though. I can see the swarm of TL owners going to the dealership to trade in. Like women at a shoe sale!!!!!

 

He didn't say it was on the website. He said it was on the new editions of the magazines I mentioned, which he got yesterday or the day before that. Anyways, if anyone has the issue, please scan it for us to see. Thanks!

 

i got my car and driver about a week or two ago. no such mention.

ps...given the amount of work and money needed to offer a six speed tl-s, i highly doubt it would be for a "limited time".

 

i just looked through both and didnt see it mentioned. sport compact car does however have a nice suck squish bang blow article on NOS instaling and stuff
