eh. some are comfortable with doing that and some are comfortable with going to the dealer. Lokee99 will attest that if you have the transmission serviced by the dealership, they are more likely to give you a goodwill. The had his transmission serviced at Hall Acura in Virginia Beach and months later it shitted out. Hall replaced his transmission for free charged him about $700 for labor and gave him a free TSX for the week while they were working on his car.

I wouldnt mind to have the dealer to service the tranny, but my concern is that weird things are surfacing out of the woodwork. Here you go, just to have an idea:

Oh I can understand that, that's why I'd have the right mind to know that a new knuckle isn't going to cost $2000. But now that I'm 6spd, I won't have to worry about doing the trans flushes at the dealer.

I never really go to the dealer unless its going to be some work for free

I usually search the forum or have some of the local members check out my car.. Plus it always helps when u have friends that are mechanics family members that are mechanics or just have a good relationship with a mechanic
