I would say no. I've heard rumors about metalic tint doing this.
Most problems I see is the tinter who installed the tint cut through the radio antenna with his razor blade on the rear windshield while trimming. This would cause poor "radio" reception.

i keep my V1 radar detector above the factory tint line on the windshield....and the reception is great.....as for the tint on the side and rear windows, it's never been a prob with anything.....although OnStar personal calling reception really sucks.....though i'm assuming that because of the shitty verizon service everywhere.....?

I would also say tint = no problem I think because my E-Zpass is up there and it transmits radio waves fine to the Toll reader

you know that makes me wonder because I had tints installed and I get very poor radio reception. Which one of those wires on the back window is the antenna and which are the defroster? Where would I look to see if it had been cut.
Thanks

Metallic tint on the rear glass can theoretically interfere with reception of the radio. Many havent had a problem whatsoever, but there have been a few here complaining of iffy reception at times.

As far as the front windshield tint strip is concerned, the original tinting is not metallic, and wont affect your remote start at all. On my TL-S, at work, I started mine from across the street, about a quarter block away, and 7 stories up.
