remove and inspect/clean your shift solenoids. the error 'appears' to be more electrical than mechanical, but pull/clean/check them anyway. Apply a 12v (you could use a 9v battery too) and listen for the 'click' andante movement in the solenoid 'shaft'. Click with no move is not a working shift solenoid, as if will not reflow the trans fluid properly, leading to rough shifts. IF the failure is electrical, it ain't moving (clicking) at all.

Just last week I replaced all 4 of my shift solenoids and I'm happy with the performance. Put 50+k mi on y BAYA-install and all is good again.

Definitely thanks for the recommendation! Shouldn't they move 1/16 to 1/8 inch ?

You buried the lede a bit there BAYA is the reason your car is still rockin' on, OP sounds like he's still on a rebuilt regular TL trans if i'm not mistaken..

Just curious, how many total miles did you get, out of the 5 year unlimited mile warranty, before it presented the P0758 code three months out of coverage?

You're welcome.P0758 is a shift solenoid 'B' error. Either it failed, has a wiring harness issue, or is 'gummed up', and by gummed up I mean with clutch material from the original B7WA trans, rebuilt of not.

Pull it, clean it, see if it clicks and reinstall it. Clean your codes. Drive. If it comes back, either there's a lot of 'gum' in your trans, or there's a wiring issue. Kinda simple. Hoping for the best for you.

Thanks John, yeah should be straightforward. I pulled both B s , cleaned , checked for movement and closure. The pin doesn't move much at all.
Thanks again!

From the exploded view of trani there are 2 B an 2A solenoids.
This forward one on top
This forward one on top is a B
This bottom one under starter.
This bottom one under starter is a B. Is this right?
I serviced both and checked operation seems good but..has made no difference.
maby the connectors? I can probably make new wires to directly plug into solenoids.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just downloaded the service manual again. From that , it says the solenoids under the starter are a and c.

Low voltage

I wasn't getting bat voltage to ssB.
rechecked connections at PCM . Then back to basics..bad ground. Rewired new ground and direct connection to solenoid. The go cart is back smooth and strong at199k. Doing a 3&3 , fluid was nice and red. Already changed filter with last 3&3 after brake in period. What a pain in the backside but maby will last for a while. Lol
thanks to all!!
