Post Tear-out using comptech sway bar?

Back when, tear outs in the frame rail around the swing arm areas occurred in Integras using Comptech sway bars. Comptech said they have corrected the design flaws. I have just purchased Comptech's sway bars for my SilverTL. I called Comptech and said they have not received any complaint like this one. Just curious if someone out there who used Comptechs have somehow had tear-outs? Either way...I'm going to install
my sway bars this week end.

I haven't heard of anyone complaining about their sway bars at all on their TL. You do not have to worry.

i inspected the car when it was up on the lift and saw the fragile little arms. if they don't break, I'll be amazed, but i don't see what the sway bar could do to prevent it. the thing is tiny, thinner than a finger. the mechanic was branging about how he broke one before.

Sway bars bolts to part of the frame on the car. Some Integras/Civics that were using Type-R rear sway bars or Comptech sway bars, which are thicker, were tearing up their frame where the sway bolts onto because it was holding that much force. So now Comptech made an reinforcement for the frame part with their sway bar kit.

I do not think this will affect the TLs at all. I don't think I've heard anybody complaining about this so I wouldn't worry about it.
