I was planning to buy a 2002 TL but figured everything would be the same if I had bought the 2000 model. The questions that I wanted to ask is do the lights fit, and where can I find the cheapest ones? Secondly, me being new to the TL series, are the stereo system good on a stock TL? Thanks

 

Yes, lights fit properly. Do you have BOSE? If so, I think its ok for everyday use... quality sound

 

All TLs have Bose systems from 99-03. And yes, I happen to love the system - although that is not the popular opinion on this board.

Have you already purchased it? If not, consider the 02's memory seats, revised front fascia, and other small touches that I preferred over the 99-01 models. (The 99-01s are still great, though)

 

Agreed, the Bose system is not a $1000 MB Quart job or anything, but damn, it sounds better than most stock systems on cars.

 

I just got my 99 TL and love the bose....hell of an upgrade from the stock stereo in a 96 Accord LX with my old Sony HU.....I would love a few of the 2002-3 touches, like the front fascia and clear tailights (looking for a pair as we speak), but the car is solid...and I lucked out with the 4speed tranny, which I had no clue about the 5 speed issue until my buddy got me hooked on this site the day I picked it up....

 

me lookin for a pair of 02-03 tail too...much better looking w/out the orange
