I say go with the rims first since that is what people will see from the outside.

RIMS...simply because it has dual purpose. it looks good...it feels good...plus youll use it everytime you are in the car. a system is only for show and most often than not only turned on when you have guests inside. leave the fancy entertainment center at home and drive your car.

Agree with the above. Get the look of the car nice since that's what you and everyone else sees. Rims first.. then system....

I'm going to disagree with everyone here

I say do the sytem...there is no performance benefit to 19's, so in the end, you will actually enjoy the system, not the wheels. The wheels will just make the ride harsh. I wouldn't go with a set of wheels until I lower the car a little bit. I think 19's will look silly on stock suspension. Smaller sidewall's accentuates the wheel gap. You already have 17's, so I'd go with the system. Add a sub and amp...I think the stock speakers/amp isn't bad. Good luck.

screw that,
SYSTEM!
why spend 3K on crap someone ELSE is going to enjoy while your driving... might as well spend it on the system, something YOU will enjoy, and concentrate on the exterior after the interior is completed... screw what other people think about your car thats why its YOUR car...

Go with RIMS. Drop chrome 20s. Be different from the crowd. No one has 20s on a TL-S that I have ever seen or heard of. Everyone has a system. Our system is good enough. When your 30 and you cant hear anymore that is what a system is good for.
