Synthetic Motor Oil

Has anyone used Mobil's 0W-20 synthetic motor oil yet? And how many quarts of oil should you put in our cars? Thanks.

Hold one minute.... I thought the Mobil 1 0W-20 is not out yet. How did you get ahold of them? I had a reply from the guys at Mobil 1 telling that there's a delay on releasing that weight on synthetic oil.

Please clarify.

Thanks,
Cap.

What happens if you use 5W 30 instead of 20. I just got some Castrol Syn. 5W 30 & wanted to see the diffence between that & the 5W 20 & also between the mobil 1 oils

You know who does? Dealers? Neither my 02 or 03 had synth from factory/dealer

The only concern with using synthetic on older (read: high mileage) cars are the seals, you may have some oil leakage as a result of switching to synth.
