Front turn signals are 1157, but the 1156 are pretty much the same.

the 1157's have a possitive/negative relay that make the lights blink different colors as the 1156's have an open and closed

alright you see how much people dont like amber bulbs... well having any other color bulb is ILLEGAL... so you have this bright white led .... and once you put your turning signal it turns amber so is not illegal...

ok you gotta buy resistor as well... in order for the led to blink at a normal speed they have everything in the web only buy to and you could just do it with the tail lights and it will control the front switchbacks...

i have both rear and front signals as LEDs.. i used the 3ohm in the rear and took care of both front and back.

There doesn't really need to be a DIY for this, you are just changing the corner bulbs. The resistor is easy to add with the quick connects that it comes with. One end of the resistor goes to black and the other goes to the green (not red) wire. I'll post a vid of my new lighting setup once it's finished.
